I have volunteered and worked as a Teacher Assistant since 2014 in primary schools supporting the teachers in the planning and delivery of Spanish lessons across ks2. Since then I have supported students in secondary school, most recently in ks3 and ks4 in the English department in secondary academies in Stoke-on-Trent. I am very passionate about teaching, I am currently studying the last year of an English and Literature degree with The Open University and I will be completing a teaching qualification that will allow me to work as a full-time language teacher of English- Spanish. Although my experience is relatively short in the UK, I previously worked as an English teacher (ESL) in secondary religious schools and language academies in Venezuela. My area of expertise is English as a second language, literature, culture and English values. I truly enjoy delivering English lessons, and as a second language speaker, I can empathize with parents and students who are not English.
