Hi! I'm Stéphane. I’m a London School of Economics graduate with a high 2.1 in history and IR, with courses in literature, Spanish and management. Before university, I studied in a French selective international schooI, specializing in economics, english literature and history. Growing up in France before moving to England I’ve had to adapt to a variety of teaching styles and expectations. Thus the key to my academic success has been versatility, persistence and optimism, all integral to helping tutees with their studies. I will provide all the specialist subject knowledge that is required for tutees' exams, but beyond this I will share study skills and techniques applicable to all academic pursuits, whether they be simple - effective organisation - or harder - revision strategies and note-taking. Further, I strongly believe that confidence and happiness engenders success, academic or otherwise. I will work hard to provide an atmosphere that fosters these mindsets in my tutees.

I have regularly helped fellow students over the course of two years prepare for their French Baccalaureate exams in history and English literature as a volunteer tutor. Coming from a big family, with younger members ranging in age from 6 to 21, and as the eldest one, I also have a lot of experience helping children in a variety of age groups completing their homework and passing their tests (Primary School level, Secondary School level, « Brevet des Collèges »).
