I have 6 years experience teaching in schools graded by Ofsted as Outstanding. I have taught Chemistry to A-level and Physics to AS-Level. I have also seen success at tutoring both GCSE and A-level students, all of my students have achieved a higher grade than they had been predicted by their teachers before tuition started. I try and keep things simple and low-pressure in my tuition sessions. After diagnosing areas that need work, I provide simple explanations, worked examples and practice questions, providing support and help as we work through past paper and specimen questions.

I've had several lessons with Simon and all of them I have found to be tremendously helpful, he has a clear understanding of the topics needed for my exam and explains the more challenging parts of the syllabus well until understanding has been reached. Alongside the explanations Simon also brings along with him ample exam questions and papers which are completed with his help during the lessons. Often he provides extra questions which can be finished outside of the lessons to gain a true mastery of the modules. Overall a fantastic tutor.
