Hey! As a tutor, I understand that every student has their own requirements and therefore taper my teaching methods to enable them to learn in the best possible way they can. This can include methods such as providing visual aids, as well as audio instructions and practical exercises to challenge and extend every students' potential capability. For acoustic guitar lessons, a guitar will be provided. However, for Electric Guitar lessons, the student will require a guitar of their own. I offer a 'hands-on' approach which consists primarily of using a range of aids and methods to teach - including listening to audio tracks, practising chords and using techniques from ABRSM's official syllabus. In the recent past, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at a Tutoring Centre for children aged 3-16. During my time here, I tutored both English and Math s up to GCSE level. During my time here, I learnt to cater my teaching approach to every child and to take into account the specific requirements of each student. I have extensive experience tutoring and teaching KS3 English and Maths in particular.
