I am a graduate of fine art textiles and also have been playing piano for about 12 years now. Teaching has always been a part of my life and something which gives me great satisfaction to do. I love watching my students grow and their excitement as they see their progress. I have been Classically trained and have done all my grades over the years. I teach classically to cover basic understandings but I am very open to my students wants. I am very keen on practicing listening skills and improvisation as well. I teach piano lessons at my home in Clapton. My approach to learning and teaching is broad and I am flexible to teach in a way that is most suitable for my student. This should be a fun exciting experience - we learn the most when we are enthusiastic and happy. I have a DBS check on the way.

I have though piano and art lessons to 40+ students over the last two years. This experience has helped me developed a great understanding of how to approach the lessons, in a way that is structured and which the student is comfortable. I believe in creating a comfortable and quite environment where the student can feel inspired from the creative process. Motivation is also something which I really encourage as it will carry us to the desired level. I have had students wanting to just brush up on their piano skills and after a few weeks they are amazed at how much they have covered. With a good attitude, little by little we achieve our goals.
