I have studied, lived and worked in London for the past 30 years and have a fine art practice and multi media studio in a great location in Stoke Newington, N16. It is here I have taught many students of all ages in 5 hour, 1 day per week sessions which can be part of either a 5 or 10 week course programme depending on students needs. Born in Africa with family still over there, I am very passionate about Art and Design but also have a great interest in Science and Nature which informs the aesthetics and concepts for my own fine art practice. I feel through travelling and experiencing different places, cultures and people, can only add value to my life, of which, I also like to share with prospective students through conversation, inspiration and making Art.
|Central Saint Martins - UAL||Printmaking and Photomedia||BA (Hons)+ Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art Printmaking and Photomedia.|
Currently I teach 'Experimental + Mixed Media Printmaking at Central Saint Martins' and 'Portfolio Building in Art and Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design - UAL'. With over 20 years experience teaching at UAL, I feel I can offer students a great insight into teaching contemporary art and design practice. I specialise in teaching students in obtaining their own unique skill set, with active 'learning by doing' technical experimentation methods at the forefront of my teaching to a level up until and beyond UAL standards. Teaching 9-14 year olds and adults at 'The Conservatoire - Blackheath Village, London' has also broadened my approach to teaching and I have also had experience teaching at private schools including; Queens College - London, Oakham School- Rutland and Heathfield School - Ascot.
