I'm Sam. I have studied Japanese for the past 14 years. I went to university in London, and continued to study at Keio University in Tokyo. If you need someone to help you on the road to Japan I can provide you with both the language and the insider tips to building a life there. I have experience tutoring in London, and have also worked at Futaba Industrial UK in Derby, where I created my own course for the employees there for 1-on-1 tutoring. Working with many different people in a day gave me the experience necessary to adapt to the needs of the individual, and I am more than happy to help you learn what you want and need to learn based on your interests. My wife is Japanese. I've spoken Japanese every day for the past 6 years. I'm fluent in Japanese and know how to explain in English. Learning can be difficult, but with a person who can tailor lessons to your sensibilities and interests anything is possible.

I have tutored over the past few years during and after university. My lessons are invariably taken well as I offer a lot of preparation and homework to help my students, and even out of lesson practice time to aid what we have learned in-lesson.

Sam is a very experienced and patient tutor who prepares you for each lesson by setting homework, incorporating your interests in Japanese and giving you constant constructive feedback. He also aims to help you outside of lessons, giving you conversation practise via Skype or Messenger. Would highly recommend him!
