I recently completed the Teach First programme and qualified as an 'outstanding' primary school teacher with an Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Leadership from the Institute of Education (IOE) at UCL. For the last two years, I have been a Year 4 class teacher and have experience tutoring Year 5 and Year 6 students in preparation for their common entrance exams. I have also tutored A-level students in History of Art. I am currently teaching part time and tutoring in the evenings and on weekends alongside studying at UAL, Camberwell College of Art, where I am pursuing my interest in art and design. I believe that children learn best when they are having fun so I try to use creative teaching approaches to maximise engagement. I am enthusiastic about teaching and I want to encourage children and young adults to be intrinsically motivated to learn.
