Hello! I am a 19 year old Law student who has a passion for academics and helping others. I have had an extensive career in tutoring and a wealth of experience working with students of all ages, having volunteered at my local primary school and as a sports coach for disabled children. My passions include playing Guitar, playing American Football and Cooking. I believe that hard work and consistency are the keys to success. My tutoring structure revolves around explaining difficult concepts before applying this new knowledge to practice questions. I always encourage revisiting earlier material in order to secure a higher-level understanding. The ultimate goal is always exam focused so that you feel confident under pressure, as well as being able make connections between topics in order to see the bigger picture.
I have worked as a paid tutor for numerous years, working with primarily children in the later years of primary school but also having taught at GCSE level. Voluntarily, I have been an A level mentor at my former Sixth Form at RGS High Wycombe. I have worked for the major chain of Explore Learning, having been employed at the High Wycombe branch. . Here I received extensive training and a vast experience on how to work with many children in one session, leading 11+ classes and teaching Maths and English. I performed well in this role (being promoted within 3 months) and learnt a great deal about the UK curriculum, as well as getting the most progress out of a student. I have also worked for the smaller company of Milestone Tutoring, also based in High Wycombe. Here I specialised in teaching GCSE science, English Lit and Language and French, as well as continuing with Maths and English for younger years.
