I am a young, friendly, experienced tutor currently studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. I have always been very academic; I enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others along the learning process. My passion of teaching has given me over 5 years of experience! The sciences have always interested me and I have found that I have a natural understanding towards these subjects. Furthermore, I have previously tutored a range of children of all ages in maths and sciences for 5+ years. As a medical student, I have excellent communication skills, especially with young people, thus I believe I will be able to explain all those "tricky" concepts to your young person and we can unravel them together! My teaching style involves questions and breaking down concepts into more simple explanations whilst working towards the more complex concepts. Unfortunately (for the students), I do set homework, but I aim to keep the child/young person laughing and smiling throughout every session!

Tutored students in GCSE maths, foundation and higher, as well as GCSE chemistry, biology and physics. I centre my teaching style around specifications and questions from the student's relevant examination boards to provide one-to-one examination practice as well as relevant background information. My students feel confident in class knowing they can bring home any difficult questions to me, and more importantly feel confident when sitting their final examinations! One of the most important aspects of tutoring for myself is lifting the student's self-esteem and achieving their own targets whatever they may be. I have tutored a range of children, from KS3 to GCSE, and having a medical background, I have also tutored children with learning disabilities.
