I have been tutoring in maths since September 1987. I am trying to get more online students because I find that online teaching is highly effective and convenient for both parties. One reason why |I think that I am suited to tutoring is that I am often able to think up on the spot a way of explaining something that the particular student who is with me will understand. When I have taught groups in a school I have often been able to create an atmosphere in which people do not feel inhibited from asking questions. Many students, their parents tell me, start feeling much more confident after starting with me. In my spare time I read in English and Russian.
