Hello / hola / olá! I am a London-based theatre practitioner who is fluent in English and Spanish, and able to speak Portuguese as well. In the vein of creating honest performance, I am invested in helping other actors express themselves at their most open and raw. Students work with me on monologues and duologues based not on their casting profile, but on the degree to which they relate to the piece. I also help my students create their own solo work, whether based on fictitious characters, historical figures or themselves. My experience in research and academia (a BA in International Human Rights and soon an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development) bolsters this. I have trained in several courses. I have been performing my own solo show (CRY, BLUEBERRY) since 2017, receiving four-star reviews and sold-out audiences – soon to be performed at festivals. My dissertation focuses on theatre for reconciliation, and I am writing a solo show about Angolan warlord Jonas Savimbi.
