Hi, I'm Ollie and I am a recent graduate from the University of Bristol having just completed a Master's degree in Chemistry. I really enjoyed learning about Chemistry and science more broadly and am very keen to help others learn about this field in a fun and engaging way. Everyone is individual with their own style of learning. I am a very good listener and am adept at understanding what motivates individual students. This makes me able to make learning about the subject material an enjoyable process where I impart my own enthusiasm for the subject on the student through my patient teaching style. I try to create a positive learning environment by offering students plenty of encouragement. Outside of tutoring I thoroughly enjoy watching and participating in loads of sports.

I have previous experience tutoring Maths to GCSE students. I taught five students who were all predicted to fail GCSE foundation Maths. Two students achieved an A grade, one a B grade and the remaining two a C grade. I have also taught primary school students science helping them to become interested and engaged in science. I found teaching the students in a manner which really focused on the enjoyment factor a particularly successful strategy. Once a student is enjoying a subject it becomes a much less arduous process for them to engage and learn the material.
