I speak 5 languages fluently and I would love nothing more than to learn more languages. I believe in all the benefits that come with speaking another language, from being able to emerge yourself in a new culture and experience it fully to keeping your brain young and building transferable skills that employers seek and value.

I have been working with children since I was a teenager myself, having started at 17 in a local Junior Church School. At university I spent the summer holidays working as an English teacher for groups of 45-50 Japanese students who attended a Summer School in the UK. During my year abroad at university again, I found myself working with children from as young as 3 years old to teenagers teaching English as part of a prestigious private English school in Rio de Janeiro. Also in Rio, during the weekends I worked with an NGO for children in one of the city's most notorious slums where I taught Spanish, Maths and Volleyball. After finishing my degree I pursued different jobs in search for the ideal role, however I soon found myself training to become a Secondary Teacher of MFL. I graduated as an Outstanding teacher and continued teaching for 4 years, during which time I was also a private tutor in foreign languages.
