Hiya! I am Nyasha, I'm a lover of science particularly chemistry . My sessions will be structured first of all by understanding the students learning styles in order to set goals and plan effectively how to reach them. I will measure progress by setting mini goals to reach as stepping stones to the overall big goal which will help to track progress but also help the student to see how they are progressing along the way. My greatest strength as a tutor is that school wasn't super easy for me and I didn't find it as easy to do well as some others did. This has enabled me to develop a lot of useful skills and study techniques that have allowed me to go on to study a degree in chemistry! I am in my final year of studying a Chemistry degree. I have studied mostly in the traditional english education system from year 3 all the way up to sixthform and now University. Outside of science I am a dancer and also teach dance, it is my second passion and i love it.

In the Past I have worked as a student ambassador running a one week summer school with two other science students to show a group of year 12 students what one week at University is like including lessons. I have also helped students who came to visit the University in the laboratory guiding them on how to do tasks and explaining the science behind what they are doing. Often they need help with understanding what it is like to study science at university. I was a pastoral mentor for a year 11 student for 6 months or so with the aim of aiding her to get higher grades in her GCSE's and help her to plan her future. I teach street dance to University students. I have also taught both the youth group and the childrens church at my home church.
