Hi, I'm Martins—I teach maths, physics and IT. I'm an Aerospace Engineering graduate and currently a PhD student in Artificial Intelligence. I have previously worked as a data scientist and a consultant. I have a passion for teaching and for learning. I design lessons around the specific, individual need of each student. This means that the student maximally benefits from the lesson as it is well-tailored to their need(s). I believe we learn best when we are inspired to be curious, and when we are shown empathy. So I show kindness, and strive to make learning an engaging and fun process for my students. We learn at different rates and in different ways, too. Therefore, I commit time and effort towards understanding how best to help each student. Teaching gives me fulfillment. I’m a teaching assistant at my uni. and I teach programming on Saturdays as part of a volunteering scheme in my local community. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, or roaming around museums, bookshops and parks.
