Hi, my name is Loretta. I'm Portuguese and have lived in America, Italy and recently moved to England to pursue Creative Writing at University. I've been speaking English for almost ten years, but it hasn't always been easy. Fluency came from using the language rather than memorizing vocabulary and learning grammar. Think about it: when you were a baby learning how to speak, did anyone teach you grammar? Or were you around people that spoke that language all the time and eventually, it started to make sense? In my experience, the latter is usually the case. First, we will identify what your goal is. Then, we will identify your challenges in language learning (native tongue, as well as past challenges you may have encountered and "mental/emotional blocks".) And finally, we will mold the lessons according to that. Expect lessons to be engaging and fun, based on what interests you. I'm friendly, patient and really enjoy watching people improve their skills.

I’ve had different teachers, and learned what works and what doesn’t. - Currently studying Creative Writing in the UK (Level 4).
