Hi, I'm Laura, a former psychology teacher (head of department) and SEN assistant teacher (across gcse curriculum) with first class honours in psychology from Birkbeck university. I currently work for a special needs school teaching and supporting young people aged 10 - 16 with complex learning needs. I have gained a vast experience of working with pupils with SEN in special education and mainstream, including having taught and supported students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, EBD, Dyspraxia, GDD, Cerebral Palsy and Speech Language and Communication difficulties. I have also studied Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. I specialise in 1:1 and small group learning. I teach all gcse and a level psychology topics as well as many undergraduate modules including research methods and critical analysis. I can also offer tuition many other primary and secondary subjects including maths up to GCSE level.
I have been tutoring on and off for over 10 years, starting out as a GCSE resit tutor whilst studying for my A levels. For the last 2 years, I have been tutoring throughout the school holidays.
