I have a first class degree in English and Spanish, and am planning a career in Secondary school teaching. I’m very enthusiastic about both subjects, and would be very happy to teach at any primary or secondary school level, or indeed to teach adults who are keen to learn in either subject. I have a particular interest in different learning styles, and am passionate about helping all students fulfil their potential. I will therefore tailor each session to the individual needs of the particular student, discussing with them from the outset their preferred learning methods. Wherever it's English or Spanish language, or the literature of both, I am committed to helping young people and adults progress in their studies, and crucially to enjoy them more.

I have gained a decent amount of teaching experience in the voluntary and charity sectors. This has included teaching and mentoring 8 gap year students in Thailand (5 months), leading and teaching on 11 summer activity holidays for teenagers, and working for two years doing youth work at a church in London. The main skills I have developed are in public speaking, group work, and 1-1 teaching. I also have done a bit of sports coaching.
