I went to Sherborne School for Boys and then to Bologna University to study General Arts (in Italian) for a year before deciding to pursue a career in play and screenwriting. I studied playwriting at the Royal Court Theatre and screenwriting at the New York Film Academy. Aside from being a tutor, I am a writer, actor and part time Yoga teacher. I have been writing plays and films for the past ten years. This year I have had three plays produced in various London theatres. I often act in my own work. When I am not tutoring I am usually writing either a play, screenplay or short story. I also tutor a young woman who is writing her first novel. I love dance (Hip Hop), surfing, coffee and of course theatre. I'm passionate about tutoring, in particular because I have had and still have such incredible mentors and teachers and I like to pass that inspiration and knowledge on.

I have been tutoring English and creative writing to children aged between 5-13 for the past four years. My approach to tutoring is (as best I can) to try and make the sessions fun and creative. I am enthusiastic, kind and like to create a focused but relaxed environment for my tutees. I do my best to get them enthusiastic about the subject as I feel that way the learning is both faster and deeper. As I say I feel 11+ English is where I am most suited but I am also open and keen to tutor other subjects and other ages. I am particularly good with students who are slow to learn and who struggle to concentrate. I believe this is due to being patient and kind. Also when I was very young I struggled with English and had an amazing tutor so I know what it's like to be a bit slower and so connect well with those kinds of students. I also really enjoy teaching very young students, even as young as 6 years old.
