Hi, I am an ex-maths teacher and currently a professional science communicator. I am part of a formal learning team where I regularly work with children of all ages, designing and delivering high quality workshops to a range of mixed abilities. I am also involved with public engagement where I give talks and run short courses. I have a background in Astrophysics and am very passionate about engaging with the public in science and space - I believe it is accessible to everyone if the correct approach is taken. I incorporate this belief into my tutoring and create an environment where there is no such thing as a stupid question. I am friendly and approachable, happy to adapt to each students' needs. I encourage students to think critically, not just to pass an exam.

I have tutored for 5 years part time alongside studying and working. Both adults and children, tutoring for exam prep or just casual learners! Successfully tutored GCSE students who were failing but achieved good passes after our sessions.
