I am a PGCE qualified Science teacher, teaching GCSE and A-Levels; I have graduated with a BSc degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Queen Mary University of London, which included an in-depth study of topics such as: Organic Chemistry, Kinetics etc. Completing the Teach First Graduate Leadership Programme, has provided me with the skills to teach students of varying different backgrounds. I am confident with the new content of the Combined Science, OCR and Edexcel specifications. Due to the changes in the new GCSE and A-Level specifications, I ensure that my students are fully equipped to be able to tackle challenging questions. There is a huge jump from GCSE to A-Levels; however my unique teaching style bridges this gap between GCSE & AS-level. I firmly belief that feedback is the most vital aspect to promote student progress; therefore, I provided as much feedback as possible based on questions & homework.

I have been tutoring since the age of 16 and my initial experience stems from a language school, in which I taught in, alongside private tutoring. In recent years, my tutoring has focused particularly on all aspects of Science as I am fully confident with the new specifications. Due to the changes in the new GCSE and A-Level specifications, I ensure that my students are fully equipped to be able to tackle challenging questions. I incorporate exam-style questions into my teaching to boost pupils' confidence and assess their applied knowledge.
