After university I worked in the market research industry, starting as an interviewer, soon becoming a supervisor and then manager of a large telephone research centre. I then moved sideways into data processing and became a specwriter within the industry. With the advent of the Internet, my language background and newer tech knowledge melded and I became an SEO with many successes. I've since branched out into other areas of online marketing, including mobile and PPC. Over the years I've built over 300 websites and apps. I have written several books on various aspects of SEO and online marketing, as well as a software user manual and numerous articles on Internet marketing.

When I was at university I was a tutor to students from overseas in the terms' holidays. I did this both as an undergraduate and postgraduate, and taught both TEFL and mainstream literature, as well as English language proficiency. Latterly I had some experience of adult literacy tutoring.
