I hold a BA (First) and MA (Distinction) in Drama and Theatre Studies and I have been working in primary, secondary and SEN schools as a teaching assistant for over two years. During my time in these schools I have gained invaluable experience in teaching a wide range of students one on one, at different age groups and with all kinds of abilities, especially those who may need a little more time and help than others. I believe I have the patience, sensitivity and analytical rigour needed in order to help students achieve their academic goals. I am open to working with students from KS3 through to A level. Aside from teaching, I am also a playwright. I have had my work performed at the Lyric Hammersmith, Rich Mix, Theatre N16 etc. I therefore have a vested enthusiasm and natural curiosity for novels, poetry, plays, essays and sociological/cultural theory. I particularly enjoy engaging students with texts in order to facilitate their independent and critical thinking skills.
