I’m a fully qualified teacher, able to tutor in a variety of subjects. My range of experience and current teaching role qualifies me to teach Science and separate Sciences for year 6 sats, year 7-11 and Biology at A level (AQA). Due to my current role I can also tutor Health and Social Care Btec to year 10 and 12 and the old OCR A level and GCSE. I also have extensive experience helping children and adults with IT skills, especially the more advanced use of Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint. This includes the ability to format and write essays up to degree/masters level. Lessons will be structured in a similar way to school lessons with elements of discussion, exam question practice and creation of revision materials. If you prefer a different approach to learning, such as a more practical or creative approach, this can be discussed upon booking a session.

I have tutored a variety of students, mostly in years 9-11. However, I also currently run an open after school club in my current teaching position, which is accessible for years 7-13. This focuses mainly on assisting with homework and exam questions and most students are completing year 11 or sixth form currently.
