I am a highly experienced tutor of Science and Mathematics. I tutor students between the ages of 10 and 18, preparing them for their entrance exams, and for their GCSE and A level exams. I also assist students with their UCAS applications and university interviews and have recent experience of teaching mid-career students for exams such as GAMSAT. Recently I won a prize as the best new tutor at a tutorial agency, and last academic year my six A level Physics students achieved A*, A*, A*, A*, A* and A respectively. My aim is to help my students to reach their full academic potential and get the grades they deserve. I believe in making sure that the underlying fundamental concepts are fully understood as this provides a solid foundation. There is nothing more rewarding than a student saying "oh yes, now I get it". My tutoring style is to seek to identify the key areas where support is required and then patiently and sympathetically to help and encourage my tutees to master these areas.
I have tutored in schools, sixth form Colleges and Russell group universities. I won the Rectors award for excellence in teaching at Imperial College twice. I have recent experience of tutoring and one to one teaching. At present I am tutoring in two central London schools.
