I am a highly experienced tutor of Physics and Mathematics. I tutor students between the ages of 10 and 18, preparing them for their entrance exams, and for their GCSE and A level exams. I also assist students with their UCAS applications. I also tutor undergraduate and PhD students and help mature students, for example in preparation for GAMSAT exams. My aim is to help my students to reach their full academic potential and get the grades they deserve. I believe in making sure that the underlying fundamental concepts are fully understood as this provides a solid foundation. There is nothing more rewarding than a student saying "oh yes, now I get it". My tutoring style is to seek to identify the key areas where support is required and then patiently and sympathetically to help and encourage my tutees to master these areas. I have a post-graduate teaching degree and have taught in a number of Schools, Colleges and Universities.
I have tutored in schools, sixth form Colleges and Russell group universities. I won the Rectors award for excellence in teaching at Imperial College twice. I have recent experience of tutoring and one to one teaching. At present I am tutoring in two central London schools.
