I am a graduate from Imperial College London with a MSc in Molecular Medicine. Currently am a Registered Scientist (RSci) with the Royal Society of Biology and I work at Synthace, a software/biotech company. I have had several years of teaching experience in maths, science as well as piano. With strong A-Levels in Maths and Biology, I have a thorough understanding of these subjects and know exactly what it takes to achieve those high grades. I believe that the Sciences and Maths have a logic that everyone is capable of understanding with the right teaching style, tailored to the individual. Having mentored, coached and guided students and colleagues from a wide variety of backgrounds and abilities, I am able to adapt my teaching style to the needs of each individual student. Watching the realisation of a student’s understanding, and the rewarding smile that follows, gives me an immense sense of pride. Feel free to drop me a friendly message and I will reply as soon as I can!

Every student has the potential to achieve and exceed their goals with the right encouragement and guidance, often lacking in a classroom setting. I believe that the anxiety and stress of the exam period makes the whole process a lot harder than it needs to be. My aim is to ensure that students feel relaxed and confident. My open, individual and encouraging approach means that students feel that the sky is the limit and will achieve the high grades they are striving for. To begin with, you can advise me of topics that you would like to focus on for the basis of the first lesson. From this we can progress through the subjects using appropriate concepts and methods to help you understand and then apply these to the practice questions. Each lesson you will be left with questions to attempt that we will review together in the following lesson. As we work through the syllabus topics, any misconceptions or gaps will be clarified and your knowledge strengthened.
