I studied astrophysics at UCL in London, graduating with a 2:1 in 2012. Since then, I have worked in national laboratories maintaining databases of experiment data, and as a data analyst for a consultancy. I have a love of music which I pursue in my spare time, performing around the UK and abroad as part of a number of contemporary music groups.
I had my first experience as a tutor while studying Astrophysics at university. I greatly enjoyed the satisfaction of seeing a student gain understanding in the material I taught, and my students left their lessons feeling supported and more confident in their ability with the subject. I loved the experience of understanding the learning process unique to each student, and working out what they needed in order to progress. I also greatly enjoy the patience and attentiveness that is crucial in tutoring, and seeing the satisfaction in a student that comes with the feeling of understanding a problem.
