For 7 years I taught various science and maths subjects at Rutgers Preparatory School in New Jersey, U.S.A. I have taught and tutored Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Physics at GCSE and A-level and I have taught and tutored Maths at GCSE level. Being a seasoned teacher provides perspective that allows me to help students be more self-sufficient, independent, and resourceful. Having knowledge of a subject is part one of a good tuition process. Part two is providing the student with skills and tools necessary to progress independently and confidently. Additionally I have coordinated classes and privately tutored SAT, ACT, and AP standardised tests in the U.S. As a result, I also specialise in testing skills that apply to GCSE and A-level tests. I love to travel which should be obvious given my move from the United States to London! From here I hope to travel all over Europe and beyond. I also enjoy playing and watching baseball, basketball, and American football.

10 years tutoring standardised test prep; 10 years tutoring Chemistry, Biology, and Maths GCSE level equivalence; 7 years teaching Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Physics GCSE and A-level equivalence in the classroom. Improved test scores and preparedness for standardised tests. Students and parents have remarked that my tutelage not only helped them achieve success in secondary school, but also completely prepared them for college and university classes. I take a student-centred approach that can often take students out of their comfort zones and shoulder more of the burden of learning. Students are encouraged to thoroughly prepare for sessions ahead of time so that I may fill in the blanks as opposed to teaching from scratch. I provide resources and homework to facilitate this process. I utilise educational technology extensively.
