I believe that everyone learn things differently and at different paces. Often when a student is struggling with a subject it is because their learning style conflicts with the way a subject or lesson is being delivered. That is why I take the time to get to know my students and devise and deliver lesson plans that have been personally tailored for the individual. Over the past two years I have worked with many different students (including people with SEN) from a wide range of backgrounds. My teaching methods have introduced new learning styles and have assisted these students to improve upon their grades. I measure progress from the evidence of the students understanding and their continued development that takes place during the tutoring lessons as well as the development that occurs in their normal learning environment. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and travelling.
