As a qualified Architect and Lecturer for over 20years, I have more than 5 years recent experience tutoring Maths at up to KS3. My particular skill lies in the ability to break down Mathematical problems in a way that a student can clearly grasp the principles. That "light-bulb" moment when they finally truly understand whatever it is they've been unsure about is one that as a Tutor , I find particularly rewarding.

I have worked with 4 school children over the past few years, and seen them become much more confident in their ability to solve maths problems. In my experience, I find that once students are enabled to "reason out" a maths problem showing them different ways it can be approached things become a lot clearer. After that we then try and work through as many examples as possible to consolidate the learning.
