I opened and ran a small alternative schooling provision in South London for 2 years after graduating with a first class management degree, a TEFL qualification and diploma to teach. I have obtained 100% pass marks with all qualifications I have ever taught. My employment history has always been based in the alternative schooling sector and is reflective of three key areas, Arts, Business and Education. I have focused my career on working with extreme behaviour and other traits that mainstream educational facilities may find it hard to cope with. I am very passionate about my work and have all the materials needed to complete high-quality qualifications with your children. I have worked with young people from all over the world so English does not have to be your child's first language, I have experience of various learning difficulties including autism and can teach students from an array of social and economic backgrounds.

I have taught for over 18 years now so have many examples but an example that comes to mind is that I recently taught a young girl GCSE English for 2 hours per week for 18 months; she was expecting a 2-3 (F-E) at the start of year 10, however our sessions improved her skills to such an extent that she obtained a 6 (B); this girl, like most students, knew what she needed to do, the information was in her head from the lessons at school but she needed to know how to arrange and present that information in a format that is acceptable in the schooling system. She secured a place on a graphic design course that she would not have been able to get without her English grade. The moral of the story is that students need one-to-one time with an adult who understands education for them to be able to flourish. There is a clear formula to passing, obtaining high-grades and being excepted into various courses and it lies in the ability to present information correctly.
