I am a charismatic, organised and personable individual looking to help students achieve their full potential through interactive learning. Every student is different so I like to listen to my students and impart my knowledge in a way that engages them the most. I graduated with a first class English degree from the University of Nottingham in July 2017. Prior to my degree, I studied Mathematics, English Literature and French to A-Level, achieving A in all. I have lived in France for the past 8 months, working as an English language assistant in two French lycées (colleges). I was a drama assistant at the Nottingham Playhouse, helping in drama workshops with both 2-4 and 14-16 year olds. I also worked as a Public Speaking and Debate tutor for LITE Regal Education, planning and delivering lessons to international students at Birkbeck College, London. I have an enhanced DBS check (valid from April 2018).

I worked as a public speaking and debate tutor at LITE Regal Summer School for international students. I also worked as a language assistant in two colleges in France, where I was responsible for planning and delivering English lessons to classes of up to 12 students, though I had to use my French language skills frequently while at work. Specifically, I have experience tutoring English Literature/Language 1-1.
