I am very passionate about maths science, and especially computer science. In Year 10, I taught an intensive computer science crash-course after-school, complete with lecture notes, slides and problem-sets. Then, I introduced a curriculum called Big History that traversed the Big Bang to the present, started a Computer Science Society during Sixth Form where I invited leading academics and businessmen in the technology industry to give lectures. These experiences have taught to measure progress by giving students intriguing problem sets and encouraging discussion about the topic so that I can see how well they can transfer their study material into both oral and written communication. I will structure my sessions with a quiz on last weeks' material, then move on to the study material. As we go along, the student will be asked impromptu questions testing their understanding of the material. We will finish with a verbal recap of what they have learned in that session.
