Teacher Expereience: My name is Anita and I have been a primary school teacher since 2003. I have worked across Key Stages 1 and 2 mainly covering Years 1,2,3,4 and 5. I have done some teaching in Nursery and Reception. I have adapted my teaching to fit the New Curriculum and enjoy teaching. I am currently teaching year 3 4 days a week. I enjoy the challenge presented and always look for new ways to improve learning. Tutor Experience: I currently have no experience of being a tutor but as a primary school teacher I have set targets for a tutor to deliver. I understand that specific needs will need to be met and I always try to look for fun and engaging ways to deliver learning, mainly through visual and practical means. Trying to fit methods to real life is key to a child understanding. I am using Maths No Problem at my current school to teach Maths. This is a method from Singapore which challenges children to reason how they came to an answer.

I currently have no Tutor Experience. However , I have been a Primary School Teacher for 15 years. I have always wanted to tutor on the side but found time to be an issue. I’m looking to further this as a means to support and help children.
