Hi my name is Angélique and I am a professional in finance, I have studied financial engineering in Paris. I used to give math physics and chemistry lessons back in France, and I think the most important when tutoring is to be flexible and listen to what each person needs. The most important for me is to adapt to each student and respond to their needs. French is my native language and I think that the most important in learning a language is the communication and practice. I would be happy to teach you French and have conversations with you !

I have given mathematics, physics and chemistry lessons for a year and half when I was studying in Paris. I had 5 students between 11 and 18, and I have tutored them for a year and half. I think tutoring someone is about listening to the person and understand his or her needs. When I tutored mathematics, physics or chemistry, it was important for me that they knew their lessons (theorems, rules, formulas...etc) learned at school. I was spending some time with them on the different lessons and give them tips based on my own experience at school. Then to make the exercises and solve the different problems, I helped them how to think. Everything is in the formulation of the exercise: reading it several times if needed, highlighting the words that seem important and the formulas given, making diagrams or drawings can help visualizing... I have seen them achieving their goals, having good marks or not being afraid of mathematics anymore.
