I am a 2nd year music student at Edinburgh Napier with my principal study as violin. I have been playing violin for 10 1/2 years and I would love to start teaching again to those wanting to begin learning having previously given lessons before. I have taught a group of children aged 10-12 ABRSM Grade 1 music theory, and I have taught violin to beginners and intermediates a few years ago before moving to start University. I sat ABRSM grade 5 music theory in 2015 and I am able to teach music theory as well. I am able to travel across Edinburgh to teach. I recently got a PVG check and I am able to teach children. I am very patient when teaching - I understand that learning a new instrument is incredibly difficult, I did especially; others learn faster than others. I also like to be straight-forward and tell students what can be improved on, and I also like to focus on keeping lessons fun and positive. I stay in Morningside but I am willing to travel across Edinburgh to teach.

From January 2015 - May 2016, I helped out in orchestras with students who were beginners and those who had been playing for a few years. I helped them with rhythm, posture and working together as an ensemble. I also taught a group of ten children ABRSM Grade 1 Music Theory. I taught a few lessons with a mixed ability of violinists, working on technique and in preparation for future exams.
