Hi, I am Amir and I have a Ph.D in mathematical physics from Imperial college and a first degree in physics from Oxford university. I have spent more than fifteen years teaching in a university. The subjects I taught included Quantum Physics, Thermodynamics, Statistical Physics, Mathematical Methods for Physicists, Linear algebra, Electromagnetism and Differential equations. I also have around five years of private tuition experience mostly to A-level and 11+ entrance exam students. My teaching methodology is simple. In the first session I evaluate my student's subject knowledge. Then based on the evaluation I design, tailor and plan my lessons. I teach most complex and abstract topics by providing students with accessible and tangible examples and I always encourage my students to ask their questions even if they think the questions is silly . It is through such questions that I could monitor my students progress.

I have fifteen years of university teaching experience and around five years of private tuition mostly to A-Level and 11+ entrance exam candidates. Given that I have done my degree and Ph.D in two of the best universities in the U.K I believe I have the subject knowledge and confidence expected from a good tutor. My methodology is to teach through examples and encourage my students to ask as many questions as they wish and I constantly monitor my students progress. A good many of my 11+ students have been successful to enter QE and Latymer and Ilford County grammar schools. To my pleasure and joy most of my A-Level students managed to enter Russell Group Universities.
