I have balanced tutoring alongside studying Medical Sciences at UCL for the last four years. I’m passionate about teaching and have found that teaching complicated topics in an engaging manner is key to ensure the student enjoys the syllabus and feels enthusiastic about their studies. I also help my students plan and structure their revision by understanding their strengths and weaknesses.

I have spent the last four years working as a private tutor for students of ages 5 to 21, providing long term tutoring for almost 20 students altogether. I have planned and delivered engaging lessons that foster curiosity and motivate students, including those who found traditional classroom environments challenging, i.e. those with dyslexia and ADHD. I have also supplemented the curriculum planning for two home-schooled students, aged 8 and 10. I have also volunteered as an outreach representative to secondary schools where I taught students in large groups (25+) with varying ages (11-14) about mental health. I tackled difficult topics in a sensitive manner trying to make progress agains the stigmas surrounding mental health.
